Fitting a hi-vis vest over a jacket
3 min read · ADR Gear

A vest has to go over whatever you wear, and in winter that is a thick jacket. Size is the thing to check.
Here is how to choose.
Two size ranges
Our Hi-Vis Vest Two Pack comes in M/L or XL/XXL.
Each option is one size range, with an open front and a hook and loop strap.
Think about layers
Put on the thickest jacket you will wear with the vest, and measure around your chest.
If you wear a jacket in cold months, the bigger range gives room.
Between sizes
If you are between ranges, pick the larger one. The strap lets you snug it up.
Sizes are not exchanged, so check before you order.
Care
Hand wash cool and air dry.

A fitting routine
Try it this way. Put on your jacket, zip it up and hold a soft tape around your chest at the widest point. Write the number down. Compare it with the size you plan to buy, and read the product page for the range.
The open front and strap make the vest easy to put on and take off over layers. Colors are yellow or orange, and the pack costs $19. Free shipping starts at $75, so add a Rechargeable LED Work Flashlight for a nice combined order.
