Reflective gear basics
3 min read · ADR Gear

Reflective gear is made to bounce light back toward where it came from. When a headlight hits it, it shows up bright.
Here is the plain version of how it works.
How reflective works
Reflective strips and panels send light back toward the source.
That is why a vest or a triangle can look bright in the beam of a car.
What we sell
The Reflective Warning Triangle Set has reflective panels on a metal bracket, about.
The Hi-Vis Vest Two Pack has reflective strips on polyester mesh.
What it does not do
Reflective gear helps people notice you.
We do not claim it prevents anything, and this gear does not replace any equipment, training or paperwork your work or local rules require.
Keep it clean
Wipe reflective panels with a soft cloth.
Dirt can dull the shine, so keep the gear stored clean.
Looking after reflective gear
Keep reflective items clean and flat. Wipe the triangle panels with a soft cloth. Hand wash the vest cool and air dry it. Do not fold the triangle frames in ways that crease the panels.
Store the vest where you can reach it, such as a door pocket or a hook by the garage door. The vest pack costs $19 and has two vests, so you can keep one in each vehicle. The triangles cost $41. Shipping is free on orders of $75 or more.
