Hands-free work lights: where they help
3 min read · ADR Gear

A hook or a tripod turns a flashlight into a work light, so both of your hands stay free.
Here are the places it helps.
Under the hood
Hang the light from the hood or a bracket using its hook.
Point it at what you are checking and keep both hands free.
On a fender or tool box
The hook lets you hang the light on a fender, a tool box lid or a trailer frame, and the tripod model stands on its own.
Check that it sits steady.
Our option
The Rechargeable LED Work Flashlight comes in a model with a tripod.
It is USB rechargeable and has five lighting modes.
A note
The light is not rated for use around flammable vapors.
Place it with care so it does not slip.
Using it well
Place the light with care and test that it holds before you let go. Turn it off and charge it after use.
Choose the tripod model on the page if you want it to stand on its own. The flashlight is from $21 and USB rechargeable. Keep the charging port dry. Pair it with the Roadside Driver Kit Bundle if you want a full set.
